Two friends, a passion for music and a precious cello. Pierluigi Ruggiero, cellist from L’Aquila, soon to be in Brazil for a long tour, has entrusted himself to the master luthier Gino Sfarra for the creation of an antiqued cello, a very faithful copy of the very famous Brescian luthier Pietro Giacomo Rogeri from 1717, which he will bring to the stages of everything the world.
Gino, luthier of bowed instruments, creates violins, cellos and violas strictly by hand in his laboratory in the historic center according to the traditional Milanese school.
Pierluigi received his first cello as a gift at the age of 9, followed by his studies in L’Aquila, at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, in Milan and Florence.
