\u201cI have decided to return to my city. There is a need to occupy it again and make it alive as it once was. Even from a musical point of view.”\u00a0Gino Sfarra, a young luthier, says these words in his small workshop in the historic center of L’Aquila. A historic center destroyed by the 2009 earthquake and which is currently the largest construction site in Europe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Gino, like many others, decided to bring his artisan activity to a place where it is not easy to live, but his choice has an important symbolic value. In his workshop, inside a fascinating historic building from the 1600s, Gino makes violins, violas and cellos. \u201cFor a violin or a viola\u201d says Gino \u201cit takes about three hundred hours of work, for a cello about eight hundred\u201c.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
